The MAX-SAFE AI Camera Overlay System is designed to provide an extra area of cover on the rear of vehicles when reversing. The AI camera, mounted on the top rear of the vehicle aims to cover the blind spots unable to be covered by the Reverse Watch 2.0 radar.
Used in conjunction with Reverse Watch 2.0 and the MAX-SAFE Anti-Rollaway Brake System, when the vehicle is placed into reverse the camera activates to scan the area behind the vehicle and monitor for Vulnerable Road Users. Upon detection of a VRU, the braking system will activate as per normal Reverse Watch 2.0 process.
