This series of functional tests is to be used to test the vehicular installation of a MAX-SAFE Reverse Watch® 2.0 module. This module has a range of different installation variations. This series of installation system confirmation tests is for installations of a MAX-SAFE Reverse Watch® 2.0 system in vehicles with EBS and an Electronic Park Brake (Volvo FM11, FM13, Scania, and MAN) with LCD screen.
A target object is required for the testing process. Ideally the target object is flat, with a minimum width of 500mm and a height of 1.6m.
The system is provided with typical detection area settings of:
- 3m trigger distance
- 2.6m detection width
- 5m detection area length
If the end user requests a change of the typical detection area settings, the following testing process must be adjusted to suit the end user’s requested settings.
This document covers the systems confirmation tests for Reverse Watch 2.0, and testing for additional integrations to the system of Body-not-Home and AI Camera Overlay.
Please also be aware that Version 2.0 does not come with a Pause/Over-ride button by default in the kit. The LCD screen provides the Pause/Over-ride function by double tapping either the screen or ENTER button.
If any of the below tests fail, contact management immediately, and the vehicle must not go into service.
The completed document MUST be sent to SGESCO-MAX at the physical, or email, address below. It is recommended the installer keeps a copy for their own records.
