This series of functional tests is to be used to test the installation of a MAX-SAFE Anti-Rollaway Brake System Version 5. The system has a range of different installation variations. This series of tests is for installations of an MSARB kit with an LED Display, and either pneumatic or mechanical park brake system.
Follow the instructions below, using the supplied images of the LED Display as a reference, to test the functional capacity of the MAX-SAFE Anti-Rollaway Brake System.
This Systems Confirmation Test is for MAX-SAFE Anti-Rollaway Brake Systems that contain an ECU with a serial number of 11884 or higher.
For Mechanical Park Brake Systems, on completion of this testing and confirmation process it is highly recommended that the system be activated and left activated for a minimum of 30 minutes to enable the mechanical park brake system to "settle". After 30 minutes, reset the system and ensure the park brake mechanism range is within the OEM specifications. The system resets with park brake lever applied, operator seated, and brake pedal depressed.
If any of the below tests fail, contact management immediately, and the vehicle must not go into service.
The completed document MUST be sent to SGESCO-MAX at the physical, or email, address below. It is recommended the installer keeps a copy for their own records.
